2026-27 Auditions
Thank you for your interest in joining The ScatterTones!
ScatterTones 2026-27 Auditions will be held Tuesday 9/29, Wednesday 9/30, and Thursday 10/1, locations TBA on our Instagram, @scattertonesatucla. Those asked to attend Callbacks will be notified by the end of day on Friday 10/2.
Reach out to us via Instagram DM (@scattertonesatucla) or email (scattertones.ucla@gmail.com) for inquiries regarding virtual auditions! Those asked to attend Callbacks must attend in person.
Q: What song should I choose?
A: Choose any song that makes you comfortable! We request that you not choose a musical theater or classical piece for your audition.

Q: Are only undergrads allowed to audition?
A: No! We have had both undergrad and grad students as members, and welcome all students to audition.
Q: Can I audition for multiple groups?
A: Yes! Most people audition for other groups in addition to ScatterTones. You will be able to make any/all callbacks you are invited to.
Q: What does the rehearsal schedule look like?
A: We rehearse twice a week, usually Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Schedules can be adjusted to accommodate quarterly schedules, and additional rehearsals may be added in anticipation to upcoming performances.
Q: Do I need to have any prior experience?
A: Not at all! We welcome auditions from any level of experience and background.
